Ways You Can Give

You know that great feeling you get when your generosity helps make things better? So do we. Together, we can get results.

If you want to feed the hungry, educate kids, protect our environment, nourish the arts, revitalize neighborhoods, or [you choose the goal], we can help. We work with nonprofits, other funders, and government to craft and jump-start solutions to problems. We can help you give effectively.

You can create a fund now or as part of an estate plan—or both. We offer as much—or as little—assistance as you want with your charitable giving.

We are here to help.

Support a cause or place you care about passionately. Create a family tradition of giving. Honor a loved one’s memory. Give directly to organizations of your choice through a donor-advised fund. There are many reasons you might be inspired to start a fund at Westchester Community Foundation and many options for the types of funds you can create.

Leave a Legacy Through Your Estate Plan

The Westchester Community Foundation manages numerous permanent funds created by generous donors to support a wide range of needs in Westchester. You can donate to any of these funds.

Please contact us to let us know how we can help direct your philanthropic goals. Inquiries can be directed to Donna Banks, director of donor relations and communications, at 914-948-5166, x4,  [email protected], or Laura Rossi, executive director, at 914-948-5166, x3, [email protected] for more information.

If you wish to leave a gift that costs nothing during your lifetime, you can include the Westchester Community Foundation in your will or estate plan, ensuring that your charitable vision endures forever. You can leave a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate or the remainder after distributions to other beneficiaries.
