Laura Rossi was named Executive Director of the Westchester Community Foundation in 2015. She joined the Foundation in 2007 as a program officer. Under her leadership the Foundation has broadened its approach to addressing community needs by bringing together donors, funders, nonprofit leaders, and other partners to better understand the root causes of persistent challenges and emerging needs and develop a shared approach to demonstrating impact. She works closely with donors to help them define and reach their philanthropic goals.

Prior to her career in philanthropy she practiced criminal employment and civil rights law in New York and worked for local and statewide nonprofits on behalf of women’s rights and farmworker rights. She has been an adjunct professor at Pace University, Fordham University's College of Liberal Studies, and Westchester Community College.
