REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RXR Building Community Fund
Through strategic investments in
innovative and meaningful programs,
the RXR Building Community Fund seeks
to maximize opportunities for the benefit
of residents within the City of New Rochelle.
In its initial round of awards, The Fund,
which is managed by the Westchester
Community Foundation on behalf of RXR, will provide assistance to programs that enrich the lives of young people in the City of New Rochelle.
It is intended that the fund will provide grants of no less than $2,500 and no greater than $50,000 to qualifying organizations. The grants will be awarded to existing and/or new initiatives that are designed to create meaningful impact. Grants will be for a period of one year.
In the inaugural round of awards, grant funds will be allocated for supporting programs that benefit the youth of New Rochelle. Preference will be given to those innovative programs that enhance the skills, abilities, talents and resources of New Rochelle’s young people, and that incorporate youth voices in program design and/or implementation. Collaborative programs that bring multiple efforts and stakeholders together are also strongly desired (for instance, multigenerational programs).
