Sustainability Expo will Inform and Inspire |

Some of the best minds on environmental policy are visiting Westchester on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at the Bedford Environmental Summit - Path to Sustainability. The full day event, to be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Fox Lane High School in Bedford, will offer informative lectures and workshops designed to provide attendees with a better understanding of global and local environmental issues, information about local green resources, and specific action steps for what you can do in your own community. Circle of Giving Award 2008 |

Westchester Community Foundation presented its 2008 Circle of Giving Award to Ann Barringer Spaeth, Executive Director of the Council of Community Services of Port Chester, Rye Brook, Town of Rye (CCS) at the Foundation's annual gathering of donors and Advisory Board members on December 3, 2008, held at the Music Conservatory of Westchester. The award brings with it a grant of $10,000 to CCS.
