In 2008 the WCF distributed over $3.5 million to charities of which nearly $1.4 million was distributed to Westchester County nonprofit organizations through a competitive grants process. The WCF offers donors a variety of ways to incorporate philanthropy into tax-wise lifetime and estate planning. We offer extensive expertise in accepting Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts, and gifts of retirement plan assets, closely-held stock, cash and publicly traded stock. These assets are invested so that moneys are available to support bona fide nonprofit organizations. Learn about the advantages of giving through the WCF and how easy it is to start a fund.
