The foundation enables people with philanthropic interest to easily and effectively support the causes they care about--immediately or through their estate plans. An attractive alternative to a private foundation or commercial gift fund, the Westchester Community Foundation allows donors to establish and name a fund, or contribute to existing funds that match your charitable passions. Many individuals and families who have private foundation also establish a fund at the community foundation to engage in effective philanthropy close to home.
